- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I didn’t come up through a classroom—I came up through real-life problem solving. Growing up in a low-income, rural household, I learned early on that when something broke, you fixed it yourself. That hands-on upbringing turned into a lifetime of practical experience. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked with tools, materials, and repairs in real-world settings—from residential construction to garage door systems, custom fences, and access-controlled gates. On top of that, I’ve spent the last 6+ years working professionally in the field, learning the technical side of: Garage door mechanics (springs, openers, panels) Electrical components for automated gates Welding and fabrication for custom metalwork Property line layout and structural installation for fencing My education may not have come with a diploma, but it came with results—and I bring that real, proven skill to every job.
