- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No. We have an UP Front pricing system. We don't bait and switch or have a laundry list of hidden fees. We quote the actual price we intend to charge. The only way that changes is if we add a service or do something different than we initially quoted.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are IICRC Certified in All services that we provide and in order to continue this certification we are constantly participating in a continuing education program.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a carpet cleaning company come to my home to clean my carpet. The employees that showed up had their pants hanging down to their knees and tattoos that looked like they had just come from prison. My thoughts were, if I had not hired these people, I would never let them into my home. They put on the high pressure sales tactics to try and charge more than triple the initial price and to be honest, these guys were scary. I realized that there was a market for a company that provided Honest, Dependable service and Technicians that looked, acted and are totally professional. A company that you would recommend to your family, friends and neighbors without hesitation. From that experience Five Star Steamer was born. We operate by those principals every day. We don't engage in "Bait and Switch" pricing tactics and we are not looking to cut corners in order to get to the next job. We are not the cheapest price and never will be. In this industry, it truly is "You get what you pay for". We charge a reasonable price for the highest quality service and our customers ask us back, time after time, AND recommend us to all of their family, friends and neighbors.
