Working with Greg from Stephens Contacting on a patio cement problem was a joy. From the contract to the finish we worked together on the choices he brought to the job. Mr. Stephens was very prompt in coming out to give me an estimate for concrete work on a property I manage. Due to a serious family-related emergency, however, he was unable to provide the written bid that I needed in order to finalize a contract with him. Given this, I am unable to evaluate anything other than his punctuality-which was excellent. I wish him and his family well.

Greg has just begun a new remodeling project for my garage and kids room. He has impressed with his punctuality and kindness, offering valuable design suggestions for the project. I am excited to be working with him and will provide additional feedback as the project moves forward. Update: I am not entirely satisfied with the progress of the work and I am concerned about the 25% advance payment that I made. Despite these challenges, I am still hopeful that we can find a solution that meets my needs and expectations. I hope that our working relationship continues to be positive and productive.

i would never recommend Creg and this company to do any work. we payed him 80% of the job and he completed 40% and then decided to stop answering his phone and emails. we have lost so much with what Creg did to us. after lawyers got involved he promised he would pay but hasn't even payed back a penny. all we wanted was for him to finish the job he started, or do the work we payed for. Creg is a lier and a great manipulator, please dont believe any excuses he gives you because he used them all up with us.

After 14+ months, a review comes in that is false from start to finish. My name is Greg, not Creg, and I didn’t get paid 80% for 40% of work. I was shorted 30% on the project because I was expected to keep the price the same while Jeff’s wife wanted to change the scope of work. Poor communication, no construction knowledge, and a previous contractor that left this client disgruntled from the beginning is the reason for this review. 30 years and countless satisfied clients, but there will always be clients that people cannot please. I’m shocked that after 14+ months, a review is left, especially like this. There’s more to this matter which I have no desire to entertain.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have been in business for many years, producing quality projects for an array of clientele. All of our work shows the level of quality and professionalism we provide. That said, we are competitive in our pricing, but we are not considered a "discount" General Contractor. Our projects can range from a few hundred dollars up to approximately $20m. We enjoy working with the most discerning clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, we like to meet our clients to discuss their project, their budget, and their expectation of their contractor. Usually, during the initial discussion, the client can get a feel for us, as a company, and we can get an idea of what type of client we are working with and what their needs are.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We are considered 4th generation in the construction industry, 3rd within Southern California. Our CEO started in the field prior to the age of 10, and has been focused on quality work and a professional etiquette which surpasses most General Contractors.
