Justin McGee is a lifelong Texan and has lived, studied, and worked in the Greater Houston area for most of his life.
Before starting his own firm, Mr. McGee served as in-house counsel and broker of record for a publicly-traded, non-listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) that controlled over $500 million in assets. Mr. McGee has also worked for local law firms, namely the firm formerly known as Barber-Jackson, PLLC and Holmes Law, PLLC, specializing in estate planning, probate, real estate, corporate law, and commercial litigation.
Justin earned his J.D. at South Texas College of Law-Houston, and attained both his Master's of Applied Economics degree and Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Houston.
Mr. McGee is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, and is admitted to practice in the Federal Southern District of Texas. He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas and is the principal of McGee Capital Investments, PLLC. Mr. McGee has overseen the sale of over $130 million in commercial real estate in the past four (4) years.
Outside the office and courtroom, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and sons and enjoying the great outdoors.

Every detail was handled with such care, it blew me away! Justin was quick to turn around his review of my real estate contract and all the closing documents. He was exceptionally thorough in pointing out things I needed to consider/be aware of, and gave me his perspective on some of my initial concerns regarding the language in a few of the documents. This was my first home purchase in Houston as we're relocating from Florida, and some things (like mineral rights) were foreign to me. I found Justin to be friendly, thorough, and so professional, making the whole real estate buying experience incredibly smooth and reassuring. I had interviewed a few attorneys and selected Justin because, from our very first conversation, I felt comfortable with him. He came across as experienced and trustworthy, and he spoke in layman's terms that I could understand. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to have an initial consultation with the potential client, in which we feel out whether I can assist the potential client, as well as whether we could have a good working relationship.

I have a Texas law degree, I am licensed with the Texas State Bar and the Southern Federal District of Texas, and I have commercial real estate broker's license.
