Just like people every dog is different! I have learned to effectively train dogs to their fullest potential in a positive way by catering to each individual dog and their specific personality. I grew up with dogs around me my whole life and have always had a special bond with them. It is very rewarding seeing the transformation from an unruly dog to a well educated companion.

We have 2 dogs, both are under 1 year, that were in desperate need for some obedience training. They basically ran the house and were both starting to become destructive and unruly. The fact that Nick would come to our house when it was convenient for us was awesome since the idea of dragging 2 dogs to a packed training class on work nights was not ideal. Nick suggested the use of both training collars and shock collars which have really helped in getting the dogs to behave and follow commands. Nick also helped me understand how my behavior was only making the dogs worse. One thing to keep in mind when hiring a dog trainer is that you are a big part of the training once the trainer leaves. We have been active in their training and are seeing dramatic results so far. Nick was always accommodating to our schedules, always on time and very professional.

My dog, Frieda, is nine months old. She grew up as a breeder dog and had received no training whatsoever. She could not walk on a leash; she did not know how to sit. I brought her to Mayday Dog Training. In two short weeks, she learned all the basics of obedience training. She now responds to commands and is a well-behaved doggie. I am so impressed by Nick that I had to write this review. He truly knows how to get dogs to behave and become part of the family. Frieda is not in a down place position in my living room. She will not move from that position. She heels perfectly both on leash and off leash. What she learned is nothing short of remarkable. Nick uses positive reinforcement techniques and seems to really like the dogs he is working with. He communicated with me every day. I found his videos of working with my dog helpful in my follow-up training. I am one happy customer. I do not hesitate in recommending Nick and Mayday Dog Training! If I could give more stars than five, I would do so. Great job!

After one week of training, our dog Aki has completely changed, he doesn't pulling the leash anymore when I walk him, and stop/sit whenever I ask him to. he can practice place while we are having dinner, it's truly amazing. I am really happy we found Nick, not only he did an excellent training job, he also cares about the dog and making sure the training effort is sustained. Thank you!!! Nick.

It was always always in my blood. Coming from my father who knew that is what he was meant to do.
