- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A. Tutoring is hourly 1. Online - straight fee 2. In person - straight fee*** ***mileage may be added (IRS standard mileage rate) depending on distance and frequency 3. No shows will be billed at the hourly rate (at my discretion) 4. Late notice of no class - MAY be billed at the hourly rate >>> Discounts may be available; see below or ask for further information B. Editing / proofreading is priced either by the hour or per page, depending on the project 1. Hourly - $40 2. Per page - $10 (average 4-6 pages / hour) 3. Per word - $0.02 (minimum 2,500 words) 3. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial contact and establishment type of project / client need 2. If in person, determine the teaching location, time, and frequency 3. If remote, determine time and frequency 4. Payment is expected via PayPal upon receipt of invoice; invoices are sent the 1st and 15th of every month; more than one invoice behind - work ends until invoicing becomes current 5. Contact with the client is using text messaging or via email 6, Should an emergency occur, please notify me asap
