This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing home projects we have ever experienced.What was quoted as a 35 day window and door installation stretched on for multiple months, leaving our home in a constant state of disruption. During that time, we dealt with unfinished work, significant drafts during a freeze, and visible damage to trim and surrounding finishes. Several doors were left crooked or improperly installed.The delays made parts of our home, including the master bedroom and bathroom, effectively unlivable for that period of time, forcing us to sleep in a guest room because it was the only space that could be kept at a reasonable temperature. For months, our new home looked worse than when we first moved in.In addition to the installation issues, the crew left broken glass, construction supplies, and cigarette butts scattered around our property. Additionally they moved and damaged personal property without care. An expensive outdoor cat enclosure was moved 4ft and done improperly, leaving it warped and damaged. When this was raised, they blamed us for not moving it ourselves despite previously saying they would handle moving anything that needed to be moved, and ultimately refused to replace or take responsibility for the damage. The communication was dismissive, defensive, and unprofessional, including being asked what did you expect from us?Issues were not addressed proactively, accountability was avoided, and the way concerns were handled only compounded the stress of an already drawn-out project.Overall, the experience was disruptive, exhausting, and deeply disappointing. We regret the decision to redo the windows and would strongly caution anyone considering this company to get very clear, written expectations around timelines, workmanship standards, handling of personal property, and how damages and delays are addressed because once something goes wrong, accountability should not be an uphill battle.Here are some lovely photos of what were left with for months before finally calling a new contractor to finish their work.
