I really appreciate Shane for his availability when i needed help with my garage door opener. He came in and fixed it with no problem! I used his services again for my babies nursery wall decor. I showed him what i wanted and he brought my vision to life! He is definitely my go to handy man!

ONE STAR for (i) lack of professionalism and behavior; (ii) lack of proper documentation/invoicing capabilities; (iii) cancellation of follow-up work; and (iv) false advertising of rates. I had originally had a different review planned for Shane Howard (a/k/a “Construction Kings & More”). However, as he reached out to me today with a blatantly unprofessional and discourteous attitude and harassed me in an unprofessional manner, this is the review that will be given instead. Today, Shane reached out and indicated he’s so “well off” that he feels it’s appropriate to insult his customers when they won’t drop everything and leave him a review when he demands it—even when there’s follow-up work to be done. Preparing for the job, he indicated he couldn’t prepare invoices or document the scope of jobs/hours worked or send anything via email and wouldn’t even confirm receipt on CashApp once the payment was made. Accordingly, if you need documentation for invoice processing, he claimed he’s unable (or more likely considering his unprofessionalism, unwilling) to do any of that. As part of his tantrum today, he also cancelled an agreed appointment for follow-up work after he threw his tantrum about the review. Accordingly, if you’re in need of a reliable and mature-acting handyman, you may want to look elsewhere. Finally, it’s important to note that his advertised rate of $30/hour is an underquote. For approximately 3.5 hours of work, he charged $200—which breaks down to more like $57/hour. Just be aware of that when attempting to gauge an estimate of how much he will cost. Overall, until his tantrum today, I was considering continuing to do business with him for other jobs at my other properties. But after today, I will no longer be doing business with him as he is unprofessional and unreliable.
