Our rates are:
- 2 Movers for : $99 per hour 2 hour minimum
- 3 Movers for : $125 per hour 2 hour minimum
Additional movers are available upon request.
Plus a one time trip fee of $80 This fee may vary depending on your location with in the city or out of!
NO HIDDEN FEES OR EXTRA CHARGES AS LONG AS ALL THE BIG/HEAVY ITEMS ARE MENTIONED PRIOR TO SCHEDULING YOUR MOVE. (no one likes surprises on a move day)
Time starts when movers arrive at the job site and ends when movers finish the job. All our rates are by the hour, flat rate’s available for small jobs.
The Quote includes:
- A 26 foot box truck
- 1 Roll of Shrink wrap(additional rolls available for $30 per roll)
- Moving Pads to protect Furniture.
- Furniture Disassembly and Reassembly
- Equipment to move you safely (Dollies, Tools, straps etc.)
-We will also, disconnect & reconnect your Washer, Dryer and Fridge.
-Licensed and Insured
-No deposit require to book your move. Rescheduled or canceling is fee as long as we don’t show up to your door step.

Was moving from a 3 bdrm townhouse to a 1 bdrm apt, originally only booked 2 movers but Jorge recommended 3 movers to make it faster and so glad I did. It only took them 3 hours total to do everything and there were three flights of stairs they had to deal with when loading - it probably would've taken 4 hours if there were only 2 movers. Jorge even brought his tools up to fix my tv and console bc the screws were loose after they finished unloading. They were prepared and had blankets and shrink wrap for my tv and furniture. They even disassembled and reassembled my bed. Would definitely recommend and use them when I move again.

Jorge and the other mover were great! Arrived promptly, were very professional, loaded everything quickly and carefully. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide the customer with a free quote according to the moving details they have provided. The customer will provide their contact information or they will give us a call to ask any further questions. Once they have decided to book with us we take care of that process over the phone or via text with the moving information given. Galactic Movers does not require any deposit to book your move!
The day of your move they will arrive at the time frame given, you will show them around your house and point out what needs to be moved.
Then you will be presented with a contract with our rates and terms, the team leader will go over it and explain everything you need to know about our contract.
Once the contract is signed we will get to work right away, the time starts when we arrive at your location and it stops when the last item is unloaded off the truck.
The payment is due at the end of the move.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We only hire employees with experience in the related field. We have mandatory meetings every 2 weeks to make sure we are satisfying all our customers needs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When it gets close to the end of the month always try to get your reservation set at least a week in advance. The last two weeks fill up fast.
