Irene was super helpful during the chaos of wedding planning. I am so grateful that she was able to take care of everything on our wedding day! I highly recommend hiring Irene to make your wedding special. Very friendly and professional, and she stayed calm when I got overwhelmed with everything.
I hired Irene for planning. I appreciate that before I hired her, she actually recommended that I use websites/apps for planning my wedding, instead of her services, since I only needed basic help. However, I’m glad we worked out a plan due to planning it in just a short time. She helped
Me with planning my wedding in just 2 months. She helped answer all my questions when picking out decor, color schemes, making a floor plan, day of timeline, helped with my budget, vendor list. We had a pretty tight budget and I didn’t plan on hiring a DJ. But per Irene’s recommendation I’m glad we did. It helped
The day run so much better. Also I didn’t expect to surpass our initial budget but we ended up spending the amount that Irene had estimated.

I sincerely wish there was an option to give more than 5 stars for Irene and Sunshine Weddings! She was there through every step of the planning process, was responsive, professional, creative, detail-oriented, and a ton of fun to work with! She made sure our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch and made all of her work look effortless, even though I know that especially with my crazy family it was no easy feat! I have had several attendees reach out to tell me that our wedding was “beautiful”, “perfect”, and even “the best [they’ve] ever attended”, and we owe all of that praise to Irene and Sunshine Weddings! ❤️❤️❤️

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I meet with the customer (virtual calls or in person) to get to know them. It's important to get to know each other and decide if we are a match! Then we discuss responsibilities and expectations from both parties. Once we establish that, we work on a go forward plan all the way to the wedding date!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a HR professional and event planning was always under my wing. I just loved planning everything from start to finish so I decided to try doing it on my own! A friend of mine asked me to plan her wedding and the rest was history - I knew I wanted to help others live their wedding dreams!
