- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Here at RFF's, we provide quality care for an affordable price! While we do not request a deposit for walks or drop-ins, we do request a refundable deposit for full-time sittings- information will be sent out if your request meets the criteria. Please keep in mind that pricing can be affected by distance, booking during a Holiday, multiple pets, or if your pet has special needs. Before completing a booking, we will confirm the final amount. We offer a "Returning Customer" discount (applied on second booking with RFF's) and for our loyal customers, we offer discounts throughout the year and even on-the-house walks or drop-ins! - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, welcome to the Rina's Furry Friends family; we are glad you're here! Our new client enrollment is extremely simple. After confirming dates and pricing, a meet and greet will be scheduled. Although we do enjoy an in-person meet and greet, we also schedule meetings through phone or video call. We understand life can get busy, if you are not available no worries! Your pet will still be well taken care of. An optional pet questionnaire will be sent out; it consists of a few questions that will help us get to know your pet better we highly recommend having this e-form filled out, especially if a meet and greet is not scheduled.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I gained my National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) certificate and American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid certificate in 2022. Katy joined me early 2023 and has learned so much since. She will be working on getting certified after she graduates.
