Our founder has been both a professional musician, music teacher and piano tuner/repairman for years and previously studied music at the University of East London. Avery was fantastic! On-time and very quick to respond to request. He explained everything he was doing to the piano. My favorite part was listening to him play afterwards. Wow! You can really tell he is cares about what he doing. Would give 10 stars if that was an option

Incredible Service – My Go-To Piano Team from Now On! Going into this, I was a little nervous—my piano hadn’t been tuned in over a decade, and I honestly felt out of my depth. But from the very first interaction, EJ and his team at Express Piano Tuning and Repair put me completely at ease. EJ personally reached out, walked me through what to expect, and got me scheduled with Avery right away. The whole process was smooth, professional, and surprisingly easy. Avery showed up right on time and was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, respectful, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain exactly what he was doing and never tried to upsell me or suggest work that wasn’t necessary. I was expecting the appointment to take over two hours, but the pitch correction only took about 45 minutes—and even then, the improvement in sound was amazing. Since it had been so long since my last tuning, Avery recommended a follow-up appointment in two months to get the piano fully tuned and stabilized. I really appreciated that he laid out a realistic, step-by-step plan without overwhelming me. The honesty, transparency, and quality of service here are truly top-notch. I’ll definitely be making EJ and his team my go-to for all my piano tuning and repair needs. Avery was the person assigned to adjust the pitch for our piano. He will return again in early August to adjust the tuning and again for a follow up appointment if it is needed. He explained the process very thoroughly, and he was very polite, knowledgeable, and courteous.

We have great prices for all of your piano needs and in addition we offer discounts, give us a call to see if it applies!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to understand what the client is looking for, then giving them advice and service on how best to treat their instrument. Pianos are beautiful things that if kept correctly can become family heirlooms passed down for generations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have on the job training and have serviced at least 6000 pianos, everything from antiques from the mid 1800s all the way up to beautiful modern Bösendorfers. All of our technicians have on the job training as well until they pass the owners approval for work.
