I take on a very relaxed approach, which allows me to "feel" the moment my client is in, and to really "see" the photograph. I like to keep things light and with good humor. By doing so, my clients feel at ease and can be themselves. This is what gives me the time and space to capture moments, and create artworks my clients can treasure forever.
I love meeting new people, and getting to know them throughout the process. I want to hear your story! There is something very intimate about photographing someone, and it's an experience I cherish and learn from.

We used Justine for an 8-hour wedding package plus a 1-hour engagement shot. Justine was extremely easy to work with. She asked lots of questions and checked in with us to make sure she was getting the photos we wanted. The photos also came out wonderfully, and we received them quickly (within a month of our event).

This review is way overdue. Justine was very plesant to work with. She was always calm and professional, and made the whole process very easy and fun. We did both our wedding and engagement pictures with her, and every picture came out beautifully. She took so many photos showing everyone at our wedding having a great time. The one thing that impressed my husband and I most was the way each picture completely captured the fun and liveliness of our wedding and guests. Looking at them, we can recall every conversation, every laugh, and every happy moment all over again!

If you're looking for a photographer that will take your vision and convert it to photos then Justine is the person for the job. My husband and I used her for our wedding in brooklyn and she was able to capture all the special moments without us even knowing. I'm not the kind of person to pose in front of the camera and she snuck some shots. And they came out beautiful! She's very professional but at the same time we felt relaxed and comfortable with her. She was very social with the guests and bridal party and when we initially met, she asked all of the right questions and took good notes on what we wanted in terms of photography. She's great!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Educating yourself is very important in this profession. I am constantly reading up on product, always checking to update equipment, and frequently attending courses and workshops to improve myself in equipment and computer software relevant to my field.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I have a wicked sense of humor, and love it when my clients can be at ease and joke around as well. The whole process should be fun. I like it when my clients can be open and comfortable with me, and say whatever is on their mind. The more comfortable you are - the better your photos will turn out. And if you're camera-shy, no worries. I have worked with many "shy" clients, and find ways to draw out their confidence and beauty.
