My pool was green and filthy. The guy from Aqua Patch made the water clear and cleaned out debris and dirt. I swam in it a week after he started. The pool technician has always been punctual and reliable.

A no show twice !! My short story. I reached out on Thumbtack for someone to clean my pool tile. This guy responded promptly and we set an appointment for him to visit which he made that appointment. He gave me a price and indicated he had high confidence that he could clean the tile. About a week later I contacted him to come out and actually clean the tile as we had discussed. He set a time and didn’t show up, and no message or anything. I messaged him several times with no response. A few days later I reached out to him again and asked if he was still interested in doing the job, and if not just let me know and I wouldn’t bother him anymore. He responded that he would come in two days and we set a time. He nor I mentioned the previous no show. The day before the scheduled visit I sent a message saying I looked forward to seeing him the next day at the set time and to please let me know if something changes. Again, no response and on the day of the appointment he was a no sow and no response. Several reviews have noted the same behaviour. In both cases I managed my schedule to be available for his visit. While his lack of professionalism is disappointing, I’m also disappointed that Thumbtack has someone of this caliber in their list of contractors. Be warned if you select this person / company.
