About

I provide an all positive, force free dog training service. No aversive, harsh, or abusive methods are used to help fur family members understand how to communicate with their humans. Lessons focus on practical skills that owners can use to help improve the bond with their pets and to resolve issues. Boarded training is structured to provide the dog with the most comforting, stable environment to foster understanding of new behaviors and to ensure safety. Clients are welcome to visit their boarded dogs at any time. I am struck daily by the realization that what I consider to be an enjoyable time "playing" with someone's pet can and has saved lives. All training can and should be made fun and enjoyable for all parties. Certainly the improvement of a person's life is worthy of the small amount of time it takes to teach both partners how to communicate.

Shiloh is very knowledgeable in the field of dog training and her work speaks for itself! She literally had my puppy following commands within minutes!!!

We boarded my pup for training. Shiloh took my scared and slightly aggressive pitbull and helped him become comfortable and able to handle stressful situations. He is amazing at walking on his leash and is so responsive to me now. She checked in almost everyday with updates, photos and videos. I never felt like he just sat in a crate all day because she treated him like her own dog. Thank you Shiloh!

Shiloh is Awesome!! My mom broke her shoulder because her dog knocked her down and She was going to get rid of him. We hired Shiloh to come out and work with my moms dog Clifford and now she is able to keep him. Thanks for everything!! :-)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined by a preset schedule and cost of travel. Discounts are available for ongoing, previous, and referred clients. More discounts are available for shelter and rescue dogs with proof of history and for our military, both active and retired.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client and I meet to determine the correct approach to achieve their training goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As frequently as possible, I take seminars about training and nutrition. I feel they are important for myself and my clients. Daily I am inundated with information about canine news. I am a certified mentor trainer for Catch Canine Academy, and test evaluator for the AKC.
