My husband and I were lucky enough to find Amanda White last October and quickly decided she was the perfect fit to take our engagement and wedding pictures. Selecting the perfect photographer for the photos could have been a stressful and challenging task, but upon meeting with Amanda in person and reviewing her portfolio we knew the search was over. Our engagement photo session was fun and totally captured our personality. Amanda was great at suggesting creative poses and capturing the beautiful outdoor nature around us. We felt comfortable and at ease. The photos she took are timeless. As any bride can understand, our big day was buzzing with activity and full of the "moments" that we really wanted to remember forever. Amanda arrived early and was accompanied by a capable and sweet assistant. While we were busy with the dayâs tasks, Amanda was busy documenting the moments that tell the wonderful story of our magical day. The photography of the dayâs events was natural and unscripted. The family and group photos were well organized. We were so excited because the day after the wedding we are already getting to see sample pictures being posted to Facebook. Anytime we are viewing the photos we are quickly brought back to that day in an instant. Our package contained a hard cover photo album that is a beautiful keepsake. We also purchased a large set of wall photos printed on metal â the quality is excellent, the colors are striking and this is a wonderful addition to the wall in our bedroom. We can honestly say Amada is the best!!

This is a review for my experience with ARWhite Photography and I wish that there were more than five stars to give to Amanda White. Senior pictures are a BIG DEAL in our area and I was clueless as to the process. Amanda took time to meet with my daughter and me, even when she knew that we were looking at other photographers. Her low-key approach combined with her beautiful photography won us over. The photo shoot itself was a lot of fun and I took my own photos of Amanda lying on the ground and - literally - bending over backwards to get the right shot. Needless to say, my daughter's pictures are BEAUTIFUL and Amanda's knowledge and command of natural lighting made them spectacular. To whomever may read this review, I hope that you will contact ARWhite photography and that you are thrilled with the results as we are!

I honestly cannot express through this short review how impressed I am with Amanda's work. My husband and I chose Amanda White to be the person to capture our wedding day after meeting with several different photographers in the Houston area, and I am SO glad that she was our photographer. She not only captured our entire wedding day beautifully, but she also went out of her way to go make sure our engagement pictures were taken at the location where my husband proposed - which made me feel confident in her work from the very beginning. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking professional portraits or wedding photography. I would not have asked for a more pleasant experience or for more beautiful pictures from one of the biggest days of my life.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly researching new lighting techniques, products and software.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father took scenic photos as a hobby on all of our vacations to national parks across the county when I was a kid. Then it was analogue and not digital. The process fascinated me and I quickly decided this was what I wanted to pursue.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I shoot primarily individual, child, family and senior portraits. In addition, I do architectural photography for property management groups and real estate agencies.
