At Sam The Concrete Man – Denton, we believe a great concrete project starts with great communication. I’m Scott, the local owner, and I personally work with my customers from the initial estimate through completion of the project.
Whether you’re replacing a driveway, adding a patio, expanding your outdoor space, installing a walkway, or pouring a slab or pad, my goal is to make the process straightforward and keep you informed every step of the way.

Did a small job for me. Will likely be using them again in a few weeks for a bigger job. Arrive promptly and immediately went to work leveling the sites (3) and building the forms. The pad site for the new storage building was in the back corner of backyard. After they had built the forms for it, I realized that it was too close the the fence, since I would need to be able to get a ladder between the pad and the fence to work on the roof of the shed. They reworked the additional ground and moved the forms as soon as I mentioned it. It was obvious that "customer satisfaction" was not just a marketing hype with these folks. Concrete had to be transported through narrow gate and around/between obstacles. The floor for the old shed was only accessible across an old edible garden area that had bermed rows across the path. The sideway was also in the backyard, next to the house and lined with bird feeder poles. It was also in the path to the first pad pour, so they couldn't finish its forms until the pad pour was completed. They also brought a string trimmer that was needed to clean some annual rye that was 2+ ft tall along the fence by the pad site. They took great care to keep any concrete from splattering on the wall by the walk. The tracked dumper was narrow enough to fit down a walkway through my dog kennel that is only a little over 3 ft wide. It still had the capacity to unload several yards of concrete from the mixer in short order. All 3 were poured shortly after lunch. The forms were removed and cleanup completed a few hours later.

I can honestly say the experience we had with Scott @ Sam The Concrete Man in Denton was superior! We had our full front walkway replaced and added the stamped/colored as extra. The original experience was nothing short of great and it turned out just as we planned, beautiful and definitely worth the money we spent. Unfortunately, within 6 months we noticed a couple of cracks in the concrete. I immediately got in touch with Scott and sent him pictures for him to see. Within just a few days he was here to examine and work on a plan to fix the issue. Only way to do that was to totally replace the whole front walkway and that was exactly what was done. We definitely felt like Scott wanted to make sure we were happy satisfied customers. They are without a doubt a 5 Star company that I can honestly recommend.
