About this pro
We're affordable. It's that simple. We aren't in this business to buy a house in Tarrytown. We are in this business to make a little spending money and help out the little guys (and some of the penny-pinching big guys) in the process. It's kind of a karmic rebalance... The creation. It's something special to start with a blank slate and fill it in with a new identity for somebody. It's pretty awesome to drive down the road and see a logo we've designed for somebody up on a sign too.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? When we charge by the hour, there is no minimum. Meaning, if it takes us 5 minutes to update your website, we charge for 5 MINUTES. Most of the time, we operate on a flat system. Logos are $150, business card designs are $40, etc. You'll always have an idea of how much it'll cost before we start your project.
- What types of customers have you worked with?It used to be taking photographs and designing logos for home builders. In the last few years, the shift has been to web design and print ads.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?JTKreative loves doing work for non-profits. We recently did a logo and site for Gonzales Dog Adoptions (www.GonzalesDog.org) and the Oklahoma GSP Rescue (www.okgsp.org). We kept it very inexpensive and neither was a big a big money maker for us. However, sometimes it's about more than making money. If we can help a non-profit organization by keeping some costs down for them, then the project is a winner for us. The more money they save, the more money that can go into their mission. That makes us feel good.
