We’ve worked with KC Remodeling twice: once in 2021 to build a bookshelf under our stairs, and earlier this year to update a built-in.
Kenneth is amazing!
We gave him very rough sketches for the bookcase, and weren’t sure what we had in mind would even be possible. Not only was he helpful in solidifying the final design, he was very patient with us throughout the process.
When our TV stopped working, we learned that 46” was no longer a common size for TVs, and we would need help adjusting the built-in. Since we had such a positive experience with KC Remodeling in 2021, we reached out to Kenneth again. He came prepared with several ideas for fitting a bigger monitor in the existing space. He was very efficient and completed the project in one day. He even installed the TV for us, and fixed a drawer on the bookshelf our toddlers had pulled on one too many times.
Kenneth is creative, knowledgeable, incredibly skilled and just a really pleasant person to work with! I honestly can’t say enough good things about him and the work he does.

I was looking for custom cabinets for a laundry room. I had something particular in mind. Kenneth responded to my request within a couple hours and came out to check the room out within a day or two. He patiently worked with me to understand exactly what I was looking for. He built the cabinets in his shop over the next couple weeks and painted them the color I requested. After installing them, the hardware I had ordered had not yet arrived. But Kenneth was nice enough to come back to install them for no additional cost a few weeks later when the parts finally came in. I’ve attached before and after pics. It looks absolutely amazing and exactly what I had been hoping for.

We were first introduced to Kenneth through our general contractor who often hired Kenneth to do cabinet and other wood work. We engaged Kenneth to help us design and build a large piece for our living room-a mid-century media console. We provided a general design direction, inspiration image and measurements. Kenneth brought the vision to life! He is a true craftsman who gives careful consideration to every detail, always asking for input rather than making assumptions. The extra long design required multiple pieces of wood and Kenneth expertly covered the seems which are virtually invisible. He matched the perfect paint color and finish and recommended thoughtful details like soft close hinges and adjustable shelves which elevated the piece to the highest level of quality. After going through a remodel, Kenneth’s attention to detail and incredible results stand out. The end result is stunning and everyone who enters our home comments on the piece. Not to mention, Kenneth is a kind, reliable partner who delivers amazing value and implementation. I would jump at the chance to partner with Kenneth on our next project and cannot recommend him enough.

Kenneth was super responsive and professional. He took my drawings and made a beautiful ladder for my loft space. I could not be happier with the final product. He showed up when he said he would, worked with me on finishes and hardware, and has excellent carpentry skills.

Kenneth was a pleasure to work with! He is very talented and was able to create exactly what we envisioned (literally, we taped it out on the wall and less than 3 weeks later it was built). I appreciated his attention to detail and that he was in communication with us throughout the project. I was nervous that he didn’t have reviews since he was new to Thumbtack but ultimately went with him because of all the detailed questions he asked when he came for the quote. I’m so happy we went with him! He used soft close hinges/drawer slides and high quality material.
Also, he was so courteous during the install, and cleaned up the site meticulously. I rarely right reviews but he truly deserves the 5 stars!
