- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No two clients are alike and everyone has unique needs. I tailor my services to the needs of my client. I charge a flat fee for resumes that is based on how long it will take me to deliver the best product to my clients. Some resumes just need a few adjustments, while others have to be completely rebuilt. I can give you a firm quote on expected costs before I begin to help you with your career plan,
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am available for in-person meetings for those who are in the greater Austin area, but that is not always feasible for everyone. At a minimum I prefer to talk to my clients to get an understanding of their career aspirations and any special preferences or requirements they may have for their career plans. It is not uncommon at all that the client and I have a running dialogue during the resume construction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an active, independent corporate recruiter and I constantly ask my corporate clients what they like and do not like in the candidate and resumes they consider. I am a strong believer in giving the hiring manager what he/she wants to see. I have BBA and MBA degrees from an excellent, well-respected school. I also teach marketing at the university level.
