I've been told that I have an eye for candid photography. Although positioning is important I truly believe that the way you interact with your family and loved ones is far more interesting that the way you are seated. If you love super formal portraits I'm probably not the photographer you're looking for. My favorite photos are the ones that catch genuine laughter and the relationship between the people I'm photographing! I love taking portraits because I love the challenge of capturing the personality of the people I'm photographing along with capturing a beautiful image. I also love the people I get to meet and the memories I get to capture!

Stephanie blew me away. I had no idea what to expect when we showed up on a misty/cloudy day. My kids were going nuts and just wanted to play in the ocean. I thought we'd be lucky to get one good shot out of the bunch. When I was sent the link to dozens of beautiful photographs I was shocked. Stephanie worked some kind of magic and saw things behind her camera I didn't catch standing right there. She was so sweet and patiently watched as my kids went nuts and I wondered around awkwardly. Her price is fantastic and her work is even better. I could not be happier.

Beach photo shoots can be challenging enough, but add in four kids under 3 1/2 and you have to hope you've picked the right photographer. We certainly did. Stephanie delivered great photos that we will truly treasure for a long time. She really captured each child's individual personality, which resulted in some really sweet pics of this precious time in their lives.

My husband and I were visiting from Canada ... we wanted some non selfie photos lol Stephanie was awesome... we had a fun time with her... she talked a lot about the area and we learnt a lot. We took some beautiful pictures on the beach and some really cool ones under the Pleasure Pier. We are happy with the finished product. A suggestion I would make is a little more direction .... the photos are a bit "posey." I would've loved for my husband to have picked me up, danced on the beach or been more playful. Stephanie provided the photos to us in a very reasonable time. We had a great time with her. <3

My packages begin at $125 for an hour long session.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I communicate via phone or email for a shorter jobs. For weddings and more important events an in person meeting is preferable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts at University of Houston Clear Lake; I have studied traditional film photography, shot a number of weddings and many family and solo sessions as well as corporate events, music festivals, plays and more!
