FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We talk over the project and agree on a price that we can stick to, more than likely this is the time I do sketches of the artwork, then we establish a payment schedule (usually 50% down and 50% upon approval of the work. Now we are down to the art part.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I visit the client, talk over the job and determine a budget (that I stick to); a free estimate if you will. Next I take a picture of the space, go back to my studio, paint the mural in the computer so you can see what I propose in your space. This way we all know what the project will look like. If need be I'll do some full size sketches on brown paper so you can look at it, this makes it easier to visualize the new artwork in your space.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Jer Giles graduated from The University of Texas in Austin With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1973.
