FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are competitive in the surrounding appraisal market. Fees vary according to the type and complexity of the property being appraised.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with the customer about their specific needs and make sure there are no unanswered questions on either side before getting into the actual work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Texas State Certified residential appraiser. I became certified in 1994 when the state first started requiring an appraisal certification. Before that I had a real estate salesman license which was required to appraise. I have been appraising since 1983. I worked with a builder when I was young as a carpenter and understand construction. Over the years, I have attended many seminars and I have taken many courses relating to appraising, financing, marketing, construction and real estate law.
