I talked to him about the problem I was having with my air conditioner and that a company I had worked with for a number of years just blew me off when problems developed after the Spring Maintenance a few weeks ago. Said I had no option but to buy a brand new unit. I hate being upsold so I called The Cool Crew and spoke to Mr. Gonzales. Inspite of being a fair distance away from him .. he told me he'd come and look and then be straight up .. he could try to fix it (it's an old unit and there's no fix that will last forever) and get me through the summer. He got hung up in highway traffic jam but he called me to let me know and ask it I still wanted him to come. I appreciated that. And .. when the time comes and taps is blown over the old A/C .. I'll have the Cool Crew replace it!

The owner came out within a few hours of our call and quickly fixed the problem, but didn’t diagnose what caused it. He also rewired and bypassed the service disconnect as he blew out a fuse in it and said “it isn’t necessary.” He was very distracted by several phone calls as he is also running his entire business. Sadly, It broke again the next day. He said they send someone out that night, which turned into the next morning, but they didn’t come during the 2 hour scheduled window, which isn’t the end of the world but when I called to check up and was only then told it would be another 2 hours. I let him know this was frustrating to not be communicated about the change and he gave me a list of excuses and was indifferent to how this issue (and how it was being handled) affected us. Even though he didn’t fix the problem and wouldn’t guaranty his work with the same fervor as he offered it initially, he refused to give a refund. It feels like He stole $300 and 3 days from us without AC, and we’re starting over with another company that hopefully is not as disrespectful/indifferent to their customers and overwhelmed by the volume of business they have. They seem like a well reviewed group, I guess we had caught them on a bad day.
