I’ve always had a passion for photography and love what I do. I truly care about my clients and capturing those heartfelt-candid, moments of love! Between engagement sessions, surprise proposals, weddings and family portraits my heart is full. I graduated from the Art Institute of Austin in 2013, with my bachelors degree in Fine Arts, majoring in photography. Tons of hands on experience, awesome school. Portraits specifically has always been my favorite subject to photograph. I have been photographing portraits, events and weddings over 8 years, and full time since 2015! She was amazing, she got every shot I wanted and more. She had great suggestions and helped me through the entire process, her and her assistant were extremely professional and knew exactly what they were doing, she made my wedding a great one. I can't wait to see the pictures!

I honestly don’t write reviews but the great work Andrea did for my surprise proposal needs to be recognized. I had no idea how to capture that special moment between my fiancée and I. I reached out to multiple photographers in the area thru Thumbtack but Wild Rose Photography was the first respond. She made it a very strew-free process. She was prompt to the location and knew exactly what to do when the moment happened. There are no words for the quality of the pictures, my fiancée and I have a hard time picking out the one we like the most. It was really hot out that day but she handled it very professionally and was still able to take very good photos. Hands down the best experience!

Andrea was awesome! She was very willing to help accommodate changes in plans (a surprise proposal) and also had excellent ideas and feedback throughout the whole planning process. My significant other was not aware that a photographer was taking pictures of us during the proposal, so the plan worked perfectly! The pictures also came out great (including the proposal pictures and a photo session afterwards). All around we couldn't be more pleased with the experience!

Andrea did a wonderful job with my surprise proposal! I came in from out of town and she coordinated the proposal time and place very well. She made the process much less stressful! We did have trouble finding each other (which worried me for a short time!) but we eventually crossed paths at the perfect time for the big moment! All photos were provided in a very timely matter and shared with all our family and friends! Couldn't be happier with what we received! Thank you!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I have a price sheet available to send for wedding photography packages, if wanted. Just need 20% nonrefundable retainer to book most photoshoot!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can always start with a phone consult or exchange emails to really figure out what you are wanting from your photo session!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a photographer all my life. Really picked up my passion in high school taking photojournalism and yearbook. I went to college at the Art Institute of Austin for photography. I have my Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, majored in photography and took many electives in school such as fashion marketing, boudoir and wedding photography. I also took many many photoshop classes. After college worked for a variety of photo companies such as a school photography company, a headshot photographer, and a wedding photography company. So with all that experience and education, I started my own photography business.
