I was referred to WF Remodeling from the contractor that Lowe's uses for bathroom vanity installation. I told him that my 'Angie's List' referral had flaked out on me. He told me that I needed to call Bill Fowler. My remodel requests were fairly simple but very important to me and he never once made he feel that my job was not important. My house is over 30 years old and I had not done any serious interior remodeling in over 15 years. Mr. Fowler has made my house look years younger with new tile flooring in the kitchen/dining/guest bath, re-tiled master bath and re-surfaced and re-painted walls. My list included smaller items too many to list here but each item was taken seriously and done professionally. I've never hired anyone who did as good a job on so many different levels. He is meticulous and has a keen eye for details. He insists on getting it right and will work to that end. He put his tools and materials out of the way after each day and was very respectful of my space. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Mr. Fowler's work. My house looks completely different and I can't stop looking at my floors. I feel very lucky that I was referred to him despite the fact that my job was not a McMansion make-over. The icing on the cake? He was great with my dog! Thank you for all of your work-it has truly added to my home's value should I want to sell.

Mr.Fowler never finished my job. He did, however, cash all my checks. Now he refuses to return unearned money and will not communicate in any way.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a LOCAL contractor with a history in your area. Stay away from the guys with out of state lic plates and distant area codes for their cell phone numbers.
