Leon completed the work in his estimated time frame and work was excellent! Project- microwave install with minor wood trim adjustment. He was knowledgeable, had all needed tools, and ensured area was cleaned up. He also seems to be a genuinely kind and trustworthy person - which when booking through an app, is a total unknown. I absolutely would hire him again and I highly recommend him.

We contacted Leon to help do some minor repairs to our new home. He is awesome. He’s fast, professional, knowledgeable, personable, and we’re happy to say we’ve found our go-to handyman. He patched up some holes, replaced the weather stripping on our door, fixed our dryer duct, and was able to look at a couple of other issues all within a 2 hour timeframe. Price is awesome for the level of service you receive. I was hesitant about using thumbtack, but I’m so thankful for all of Leon’s work so far!

Leon was incredibly helpful, polite, and respectful throughout the entire process. He helped us clear out our garage, fix a trailer we’d had sitting for months, and knock out several other tasks we’d been putting off. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
They can either message me and ask or I will try to keep my pricing up to date on my page. For now it is $50 an hour!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Please reach out to me and let me know what you need done and then we can move from there. If it's a handyman job, I charge per hour and can start the work as soon as possible. If you need something built I will charge my initial fee to go and look at what you need and then I will give you a quote for the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve gained hands-on experience working on a wide range of repair and maintenance projects over the years, including working as a diesel mechanic in South Africa and then when I came to the United States I worked as a farmer and mechanic in Iowa. When I moved to Texas I started doing smaller projects and also worked as a ranch manager. My background has helped me develop strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a solid work ethic that I bring to every job.
