Matthew Scott was absolutely fantastic. He was on-time, very friendly and explained his thoughts and diagnostics to me every step of the way. Like most electrical contractors, Lakeside Electric charges a 'Service Call Fee' in addition to project labor and material.
Electrical work is very broad.
For certain projects, Lakeside Electric will submit an estimate up front prior to work performed with approval from the Owner, such as a ceiling fan installation or GFCI replacement.
Other projects, such as troubleshooting, warrant a 'Time & Material' pay structure simply due to the 'Unknown' of the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To achieve this, effective communication, punctuality, and trust are the key factors when working with new and existing clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Matt Scott, the Owner of Lakeside Electric, is a licensed master electrician with over 10 years of experience in residential & commercial electrical work.
Matt completed his 'General Electrician' vocational studies at the Southern California Institute of Technology, a 10-month program.
Following that, he completed a 5-year apprenticeship with the IBEW Union in Austin, TX, where he was an active union member for 6 years.
Matt earned a Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Texas and went on to earn his Master Electrician license, which requires 12,000 documented hours in the field and passing a rigorous state exam.
