Travis ran 5 ethernet drops from my office to various corners of our home for security cameras. The installation was flawless. The wires are well hidden and the camera placement provides perfect coverage. Travis was in and out in just a few hours. TJK charged a fraction of what we were quoted from other Austin installers. With everyone working and schooling from home, I needed a stronger wireless signal (and option for a wired connection at times) upstairs. To accomplish this, I needed a hard-wired Ethernet jack installed upstairs (in the kids game room) running to my downstairs master closet where my router is located. I emailed Travis yesterday and set up a time for him to come today. He was on-time and communicated well. He was able to complete this challenging task (because of the way my house is built) right on time! Now I have a new router upstairs pumping out a strong signal and high speed! I would wholeheartedly recommend Travis and TJK Security for your network or security needs!!

Travis was amazing! We had a receiver go bad in our home theater room. He was a great communicator, timely and helped us understand what was going on with the system and wiring. He took care of ordering and installation and gave us a good price. A fantastic experience!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer the best workmanship, attention to detail and service. We are not the cheapest for a reason, expect the best from us. We clean up the messes left, clean as we go and provide the best possible customer service available. Therefore, we have over eighty (80), 5 STAR reviews and all google reviews are 5.0, over forty (40) of them. All residential jobs will be handled directly by me, Travis, the owner of TJK Security & Automation.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we would like to have a quick phone conversation to discuss the project and set up a time to meet. During this meeting we will go over customer expectations and requirements, as well as address any issues foreseen beforehand. Next go over options and pricing and follow up with a DETAILED estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20+ years of technical training and experience in electronics, alarms, audio, and video systems. I have been employed with high end business in the past, providing customer support in the field as well as technical roles that have enabled me to be hands on with customers of all backgrounds.
