Khosrow was a great find. If you are looking for a handyman, he’s the one. He installed a wine rack in our home. Was very prompt and quick in fixing it.

If you were looking for a handyman look no further. He was on time and had great communication. He even suggested a better fix than I was thinking. He work is fantastic and reasonably priced. I would definitely hire him again.

Absolutely fantastic! Showed up on time, did quality work, very responsive in communication and cleaned after himself! On top of my list, he saw an issue with my fence latch (something I've been struggling with since moving into the house and avoiding going though to get into back yard or get to the drive way) and offered to fix it. While installing the ring camera, he helped me choose the best angle, after removing some shelves without even being asked, filled in the holes and asked where the paint was to finish the task!!! Absolutely not something I expected. This handyman went ABOVE AND BEYOND for his client. Would absolutely recommend and will use his services again.

If you don’t already have a handyman in your contacts, then he is the guy. Khosrow is going to be our go-to-guy for all things handy now! Thank you so much, Khosrow!

I contacted HomeFix for some handyman work. I needed a bath faucet tightened, several doorknobs tightened, and kitchen drawer slides repaired since they were sticking and hard to push in and pull out. Kasro responded promptly via text and was able to schedule me earlier than the Thumbtack website would allow. He arrived on time at 10 a.m. and got started on the faucet in the master bath. I thought it would be a quick fix, but it took a little longer than I anticipated. I had planned on letting him do a cabinet door that had a slight gap and hitch when I opened it, but decided to tighten the screw hinge myself. I mean, I'm paying by the hour and if the faucet is taking this long...LOL Anyway, he finished the faucet. Kasro explained why there was a difference in the feel of the faucet turning. He mentioned when the one faucet handle was replaced... I told him nothing had been replaced. Our home was a new build, and this is the first repair. He said something happened, because one faucet handle is not from a set, and this is only evident when seen underneath. I mentioned I had tightened the screw on the cabinet door. He explained the screw is not really for tightening, it is for balancing. He showed me the gap difference between the top and bottom of the cabinet door. It was really obvious. THIS was a clear indication to me, that I had found a good handyman. Finally, someone who knew what they were doing and why, AND could clearly explain it to me. In the kitchen I showed him the problem drawers. He said after a while the ball bearings in the drawer glides wear out. He recommended new glides to fix the issue. He would have to go to Lowe's to get the parts. After he started removing the drawers, he showed us the broken plastic where the ball bearings were. He said he would look for metal housings. He purchased 6 drawer glides and 1 doorknob to replace a bad one. He got to work and completed all repairs at 3:40 p.m. I thought Kasro did a really good job. He was knowledgeable in the repairs I needed and explained things very well. The Lows and why I removed one star from the rating. 1. One of the glides that he purchased was a soft-close glide for our garbage drawer. We did not have that before. He said it was a couple dollars more than the regular glides and he thought it would be better for the cabinet finish. I wish he had called and asked me if I wanted that. I would have said no. I've tried to get used to it. I just don't like it on this drawer. 2. For the trip to Lowe's he charges his full hourly rate. I have never had a repair person charge their hourly rate for picking up supplies. Some don't charge at all (especially if it's close), others charge maybe half of their hourly rate. He mentioned needing to pay for gas. I would have been happy to pay for the gas and some of his time, but full rate. Lowes is 6.3 miles from my house. He was gone from 11:50 a.m. to 1:05 p.m. So, the trip to pick up the glides cost over $65. 3. Kasro says he does not charge half-hour increments. His charges are full hourly increments. Would I use Kasro again? Yes, definitely. He did a good job. I now know how he runs his business and that's fine. It's just good to have that heads up beforehand and now I do.
