FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically for bookkeeping, I set up a monthly fee for my clients. That way, the client knows the exact cost for the whole year. If that ever needs to be adjusted, it is discussed first. Services for tax return preparation are given a range based on a brief explanation from the client on what I can expect.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically when meeting a new client, we first speak and discuss what services are needed. Once I have an idea, I go over all options of providing data and documentation digitally. My clients have 24/7 access to all paperwork provided right from their computers. Simultaneously, we go over what fees or range of fees they can expect from me. I do not send surprise invoices. If regular consultation is needed, we discuss those fees separately. Once services are laid out, documentation inquiries are figured out and fees are discussed, then the work can get started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2007, I earned my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Accounting. I am a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). For 7 years, I worked for public and corporate accounting before turning my focus on the business.
