I would have never imagined that working at Chuck E. Cheese from age 16-18 would give me an inside look on how to entertain children while working in a Mascot Character. I would have never imagined that when I dressed up as a silly character in 1999 at a Youth Lock-in, that it would lead to this. I would have never imagined, that I would have a family business. Well, God has a way of doing things. I started performing as Bozo the Hozo the Christian Clown for family birthday parties and it spread from there. We hosted, Bozo the Hozo Live in 2005 (footage now available on YouTube). Bozo the Hozo has been in countless parades across the state of Texas, has books on Amazon about him, and appeared on America’s Got Talent on NBC. I am very interactive. I have a great understanding in child development and work with the children at their developmental level. I am one of the funniest clowns at there, at least that is what I have been told. You be the judge. : ) I am so very excited about Costumed Character portion of our business. We are now able to offer families the options having some of their favorite characters from television shows and movies come visit them at events. We also offer customers the chance to rent our Mascot Costumes per day. This allows them to save some money as they or a family member dresses up in the costume. Our story is His Story. God has been good to us. We consider ourselves birthday party specialists and would love to share our expertise, joy, and fun at your next event. We are even able to take our fun loving entertainment to schools through assemblies and motivational speaking. Whether it’s a character you want or regular, fun loving David, students from Pre-K to 12th grade always receive a laughter and walk away with a message.

Bozo the Hozo Clown was an absolute HIT with my kiddos! His wife also did face-painting and it was fantastic. We hired Bozo for 2 hours and there was never a dull moment! He sang, danced, did jokes, and beautiful balloon animals. He is extremely talented, friendly & a great performer. My kiddos were sooo entertained. We will definitely be hiring him and his wife Mary again in the future. Thank you for making Arabella’s 6th birthday party a memorable day!

I hired Bozo the clown on short notice for my daughter’s birthday party on Jan 17. It was an hour of pure entertainment. At first the kids were a little scared because he was a clown. They started to slowly come around once Bozo did his thing. He was hilarious. All the kids and adults enjoyed him. The story, jokes, games, music, and balloons. I’ve referred to him to a few friends. Book him now!

Derrick David was the best!! The kids (and adults) all loved his enthusiasm, spirit, and Elf costume for the balloon artist. Would hire him back in an instant!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep my prices fair. Most of my prices are negotiable. When I can give you a discount, I will.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They typical process in working with a new customer is fairly simple. I like to communicate with the customer to help them understand what I can offer. Once interested, I answer any questions the customers may have. When the customer is ready to book me, I require a deposit of up to have the price for the event. The deposit secures the date and the remainder of the balance is due at the time of services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of training in child development, training in balloon twisting, and training in clown services. I also have received training as a professional actor which translates through all the services I offer.
