- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a complicated pricing system. I do work best when I know what you ga e to spend and I work closely with you on your expectations. I care about my customers so I'm going to do whatever it takes to make them happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Floral design is a form of art and technical knowledge. If you are good at your craft then the customer will come back and challange you behond your comfort zone. The biggest areas where florist need continuing education is regarding product sourcing, computer science and marketing to stay competitive and flexible. I was fortunate to have 15 years of working for large global corporation so this was easy for me. My continuing education comes from technical organization, floriculture groups and local small business organizations.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a Horticulturalist because it was a perfect combination of science, business and Art.
