- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $45/hour + the cost of any supplies if needed. I work in 2-4 hour sessions. Consultations are free to make sure we BOTH are comfortable. Different jobs take different amounts of time and it's important you are happy so communication is very important to me. I promise, your space will be better at the end of our session than it was at the beginning!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with clients before I go to their home--I want to be a good fit for your needs. I prefer photos to be sent to me in advance so I can have an idea of what we'll be tackling. On the day of our appointment, you'll show me your trouble spots and I'll get to work! I can work alongside you or solo--however it best suits you. If items are being donated, I'll gladly haul off one carload for you (depending on where it's being donated.) Before I leave for the day, we'll discuss any 'homework' and schedule your appointment. Unless otherwise discussed, payment for that day's session will be due at the end of your appointment via check, cash, PayPal or the Thumbtack App. I will work with your budget and your project's scope of work, depending on what we are tackling -- I am flexible--communication is key!
