FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm flexible and not a traditional photographer. The pricing I quote is not just for the time we spend together at the shoot, it also the to communicating about what the day of the shoot will be like, scouting a location and the hours of editing the photos. Example of Editing time: During a photo shoot I will capture 100 to 300 shots. I will typically get 20 to 50 great shots during this time. The editing of a photo can take 8 to 10minutes per photo. For 30 photos it will take 4 to 6 hours of editing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step one and maybe most important, let us have a phone call. The call this will allow you to get a feeling and comfort you have with me. I want you to have the feeling after the call that "I will be comfortable with this person and look forward to the shoot." Step two communicate and understand what you are looking for in the photos. The more we communicate on your request the better I can prepare for the day of the shoot. If this is an event or special portrait, I like to know who will be in the shoot or event. I love knowing if there is a special person, grandparents or old friends. Nothing better than capturing that special moment with these special people. Feel free to send me photos you have seen in a magazine or online, I'm always open for ideas from my clients. And lastly lets have fun on the project!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self-taught, instinct and good eye. I'm always researching and studying of today's and yesterday’s great photographers.
