FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At MK Realty Property Management, we believe property management pricing should be straightforward and easy to understand. Our management fees are typically collected directly from the monthly rent proceeds, so owners do not have to worry about writing separate checks or unexpected invoices. We do not believe in hidden fees or surprise charges. In most cases, our pricing consists of a monthly management fee and a one-time leasing fee when we secure a new tenant for your property. There are no leasing fees for tenant renewals, helping owners save money when quality tenants choose to stay. Our goal is to provide professional, full-service property management with clear pricing, transparent communication, and no unnecessary add-on costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first step is property evaluation to understand the owner's goals, review the property, and determine market rental rates. Once engaged, we develop a customized management plan, markets the property, screens prospective tenants, and executes lease agreements. After a tenant is placed, the management team oversees rent collection, maintenance coordination, property inspections, lease enforcement, financial reporting, and tenant communications. For commercial properties and POA/HOA communities, management services include vendor oversight, budget administration, board support, covenant enforcement, and capital improvement coordination. Throughout the process, we as property managers serve as the owner's representative, protecting the asset, maximizing occupancy and income, and ensuring the property is professionally maintained and operated.
