Rusty is really good at assessing what both you and your dog need when it comes to training. After demonstrating how you should handle your pup he let's you take the lead and is super encouraging when you kind of stumble your way through. Firm Foundation K9 Academy is definitely a no judgement zone and I really appreciated that.

Rusty has been the only one to help me get over the dog training hurdle. He takes soooo much time to show you the proper way to work with your pup. Then when it's your turn to take the lead he is super encouraging and non-judgemental.
I've not met anyone as gifted at handling dogs as Rusty. His method works if you work the method.

This was my first time with a trainer. Rusty, is a great trainer. From the day we started to now, Ive seen major improvement from my 16 month cane Corso, Gia. Shes has bad reactivity but its getting so much better!! Not to mention basic commands and what not. I cant speak enough how much Rusty has helped us.If you ever need a trainer, I highly recommend Rusty!

Thanks, Roy. Gia would not be doing nearly as well without your continued work with her between our sessions. Keep up the great work. It has been a pleasure working with both of you. I look forward to continued growth and results.

I cant say enough good things about this dog training team! They understand that lasting progress starts with teaching the owners, too. They explain everything clearly, answer questions with patience, and give you practical tools you can use at home.Their approach is firm, fair, and genuinely caring. If youre looking for help building better habits and a stronger relationship with your dog, I highly recommend them!
