My name is Ben Hitson and I learned my craft from my father. I started at the age of 14, and have been in the trades for 25 years now.
I take a lot of pride in my work and always try to improve on my skillset as well as my communication and customer experience. I'm now passing these skills on to my sons.
We can build just about anything. We specialize in bathroom/kitchen remodels & patio covers/outdoor kitchens, but any carpentry related job is in our wheelhouse.

Years ago we added a 20x20 patio to our home but left it uncovered. We hired Ben to come out and cover it. He walked us through the entire process. His architect provided us with drawings and actually offered us an option we didn't know existed in roofing called a half hip. Once the design was finalized Ben was able to get everything built on schedule and budget! We had a birthday party scheduled and they was the deadline and it was met. Rare in construction! The quality of work is the best I've experienced. He is a true craftsman and that bled over into his attention to detail while managing his subs. We had a fire place added to the patio and while Ben himself is a carpenter he made sure the masonry and electrical work was excellent. Absolutely recommend.

Patched a hole in my sheet rock from a plumbing repair. Responsive, affordable, and quality work. I would never know there was ever a hole there. Great work.

Long story short....I had called several contractors to repair damaged interior from Hot Water heater, they either never responded or were not interested. I call Ben @ Ben Hitson Built and he came out within a day and spent a few hours going over everything I needed done. Work was started promptly and done very neat and clean during the process. If I had any changes during the job, Ben was gracious to accommodate. I am not easy to please. Ben and his crew are someone I trust in doing any remodel or repairs to my home. I will definitely be reaching out for any further projects or needs.

Ben did all of the drywall work for our newly renovated lake house. His work was excellent, timely, and a good value. I also enjoyed our discussions about life and learning about his family. I highly recommend him.
