Needed a bunch of upgrades and electrical work for a house I recently purchased. Jess made great recommendations and the quoted prices were fair. Work was done on the day of, as promised, with great communication throughout and very professional. I know from experience that sometimes using apps like Thumbtack (or Angi) is a hit and miss, and it takes a leap of faith to trust that whoever you hire would do a good job and/or not screw you over.
