- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide a professional level service on par with engineers, architects, lawyers, etc. I highly value my professional license and I charge fees based upon my professional level of knowledge. If you are only looking for the cheapest survey you can get, good luck with that!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I need the complete address of the property to be surveyed. The address opens the door to a lot of information about the property. Info that I need to prepare a quote. I would like to know what you plan to do with the survey. Real estate sale-residential-commercial, design for a new home or business, tree survey, etc. A phone call would be most helpful to cover all the bases. When we have the details worked out, I can schedule a time to send a crew to do the field work. It takes anywhere from a half day to a few weeks to complete depending upon the complexity of the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a BBA and over 4 years experience just to apply for licensing. I must complete 12 hours of professional continuing education each year to maintain my license,
