Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: The work I do is a combination of different techniques. I use a bit of Swedish massage with everything I do. Rather it's deep tissue, myofacial release, neuromuscular therapy. I don't believe in "no pain no gain". There will be times when there's discomfort though, depending on the type of work that's being done and what is going on with the muscles. I specialize in orthopedic massage therapy, and myofacial release. I enjoy meeting new people. I love doing massage therapy, and helping people heal their bodies.

Massage Therapy

She showed up an hour late with no lotion! I'm glad I had massage lotion because I used to be a therapist. I was clear about the areas I needed the most work because I was having surgery in two days and she pressed on bones instead of working the muscles like I'd asked. I had to instruct her on what to do so I don't feel like she knew what she was doing. She worked my shoulder (not massaged, just pushed around on it) so much that it was more painful when she got done instead of feeling better! I would not recommend her if you're wanting a good massage! I won't call her again and feel like I shouldn't have had to pay her for what I received !
October Skies Massage Therapy's reply
We had agreed to rescheduling our session. She didn't want the type of massage lotion that I was using. Client didn't communicate that she was uncomfortable with the work I was providing. She was an extremely difficult person to work with and I did the best I could to make her happy. It wasn't a good match for either one of us. I was willing to either give her a free massage or refer her to another therapist, however she refused. Since this review, I've taken several hundred hours of more continuing education classes, and have not received any negative feedback. It's sometimes difficult to find the right match between therapist and client. Unfortunately, this was one of those times.
