I'm Craig, owner of CLJ Media Group, and I've been making images for a living for 25 years. When you book us, you get us — I shoot and edit every project personally, alongside my wife Tasha and my second shooter Jeremy. No rotating roster of freelancers, no handing your day off to someone you've never met. We shoot on professional Sony cinema bodies with G Master glass and Profoto lighting, so your photos hold up in any room and any light — dim reception halls, harsh Texas midday, all of it. Every client gets a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads, delivered fast. Weddings, family portraits, corporate and brand work, real estate, and sports coverage across Houston, Pearland, and everywhere in between. We also build the websites and content that put that work to use. My standard is simple: you should be proud to show these photos to everyone you know. I don't call a job finished until that's true.

CLJ Media Group did such a wonderful job with our toddlers photoshoot! They knew exactly how to keep the session fun and relaxed, and somehow managed to capture all those little expressions and moments that really show our childs personality. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are posted on cljmediagroup.com, so there are no surprises. Portrait sessions start at $150, event coverage at $450, promo videos at $495, real estate photos at $195, and wedding photography at $1,295. A 50% retainer reserves your date, and there are no hidden travel fees anywhere in Greater Houston. Real estate agents with 4 or more listings a month get 15% off every shoot.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we talk through your date, location and what you want to come away with. I send a clear quote, and a 50% retainer locks in your date. Before the shoot we plan the timeline and the must-have shots together. On the day, we handle the direction so you can relax and enjoy it. Afterward, your photos are edited and delivered in a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads.
