Individual Tax Preparation

My husband and I were searching for the best person to help with our tax preparation. I contacted about 8 companies to get an idea if s/he would be a good fit for us. As we were about to choose the tax preparer after speaking with at least 5 people, I rechecked their backgrounds and found out that the one we liked didn't have any financial education. So, we decided to look once more and found Abynus Tax and Accounting Service. Nathaniel made himself available to us right away and answered our many questions. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and honest. Of course, I checked out his enrolled agent #ID number on the IRS website, which you have to work hard to get. We really appreciate Nathaniel's time, guidance, and reasonable pricing. We look forward to working with him on our taxes. Definitely recommend him highly!

Business Tax Preparation

I normally complete my tax return myself using one of the standard programs. However, 2020 was complicated and TT and HRB were telling me I owed several thousand. Abynus were prompt, professional and saved me a big chuck of money. The fee for this was not much more than TT or HRB would charge. I highly recommend contacting Abynus for your tax needs.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My fees are both time and task based. If a task is estimated to be longer than the norm, then it will be treated as time based. For example, if you give me a box of receipts that would take hours to put together, then this will be treated as time based. But rest assured, my fees are very reasonable for the services I provide, since I don't have a fancy office. I work from home to provide the same or higher level of service for my clients, while saving them money at the same time.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The first step will be a short interview to assess what needs to be done and, if possible, provide an estimate of the cost so that there would be no surprises at the end. I will always honor my estimate, even it turns out that the task requires more time to complete. A happy customer is my ultimate goal. The next step will be to collect all the required documents and paperwork to begin the task. The documents can be uploaded to my secure area or we can meet in person and I can then collect them from you. Further questions can usually be addressed through email or phone/text.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am an IRS Enrolled Agent. I've been an Enrolled Agent since 1995 and had done work for H&R Block and CPA firms, before establishing my own practice.
