I was provided an invoice with the amount the repair would take to fix my slouching couch. I paid a small deposit which went towards the repair cost. Paul started working on the couch repair. He had my coach repair within an hour. Thanks for your service!!

Horrible experience - connected through Thumbtack. Sent very detailed pics of a couch fringe section that needed to be relocated from front to back of couch and feet to be replaced . High quote for something simple was the (first red flag). Met with Paul to see job in person . He said a backing needed to be ordered that he couldn’t find locally so now I would miss the date they stated it could be done by and now I would be out of town when the work would be done. I had to follow-up a few times ( second red flag) to get follow thru on the new date but since it was minor I coordinated with my tenant to have it done while they were at work. Paul texted me that the job was complete but then did not send me full pics of the area that the fringe was relocated from or the feet replacement and said he already left the house when he texted me ( 3rd red flag ) and my realization that they were trying to get over on me and that they did not complete repair. Instead of just being honest - - When I inquired further why he didn’t call me or send full video of the repaired couch before leaving the house …. He and his wife ( I guess ) whom I also spoke with both got aggressive and started gas lighting me as if I was trying to not pay them for work that was done but in reality they could not do the repair but did not say so ; they just half assed it and asked what I wanted to pay. I wanted to be done and not waste anymore time on these scammers so I agreed to pay half of the balance owed but once I got back into town and saw what they actually did ( fringe hanging off staples loose etc) I felt crazy for paying anything at all. I really cannot believe how dishonest and ridiculous these people are. How they sleep at night I don’t know but karma will impact their business and personal lives no doubt.
