Private Dance Lessons
John stepped in at the last minute and helped with our mother/son dance for my son's wedding. The steps he taught us were just what we needed! He was professional and patient, and I highly recommend him!

Private Dance Lessons
We are having our 2nd private lesson this weekend!
Jan 18, 2020Verified - Nancy M.
Through time spent years ago learning ballroom, I came to know quite a few dance instructors, either personally or through their students who were acquaintances of mine. Either they sweet talk you into buying expensive packages (and then disappear), or convince you to spend a fortune to train and enter competitions...when maybe all you want to do is learn to dance socially and have FUN. John’s whole approach is, “if it’s not fun, why do it?” No drama, no hassles, no pressure! He’s more patient and supportive than any instructor I’ve ever known, and believe me, you will have fun while you’re learning!

John is a wonderful instructor! He is a high class professional who is patient, creative and full of integrity. I look forward to each one of his lessons because he develops and nurtures my dancing skills with kindness and caring. It is a joy to learn and to grow from John's instruction.

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Prior to taking a lesson, I would like to have a consultation with the prospective student in order to discuss what their goals are and what they expect from their dancing. Then I would put together a curriculum for that specific student in order to fill their needs and wants.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I was introduced to ballroom dancing in 1998 by Jobea Bittenbender. She was the one that got me hooked on ballroom for life. Over the years I have also been periodically trained by Aimee Mendez, Randy Lynn and Christopher Ashley, to name a few.
