Angie’s School of Music

Hi y'all! My name is Angie and I offer affordable piano lessons from my home in Ovilla, TX, and remote services as well. I started playing piano when I was 6. For middle school, I attended W.E. Greiner Exploratory Arts Academy to continue my studies and later on down the road, I attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Downtown Dallas. During my time here, I was in Musical Theater, Contemporary Ensemble, Choir, Music Theory, and of course, Piano. #Classof2022 It didn't come easy though. I have had several private instructors growing up and could never adjust to their teaching style. I often left lessons feeling discouraged rather than uplifted. So I became a private piano teacher. I knew something needed to change with how we are teaching our students. There were too many institutions that taught too little and charged too much. I ensure that all my students will see progress and feel confident with themselves. With the students I teach now, we laugh, celebrate, and our lessons are made to be fun so my students feel accomplished!!
