The balloon backdrop was fabulous and was a big hit at my son’s graduation party. Yetunde was very responsive and communicated everything we needed quickly. I was so happy she was available on what I felt was short notice. The balloon arch was the little extra touch I felt the party needed and it was beautiful.

In today's world, our lives are defined by the speed at which we conduct ourselves--with many of us flying around with our hair on fire. Contrastingly, we would stop everything in an instant to make sure our children have truly memorable and treasured experiences. However, the two concepts mix about as well as oil and water. I finally came to that realization when I needed to prepare for my daughter's 6th birthday. Completely exhausted to the point where intravenous coffee and RedBull couldn't keep me going, I finally asked a friend how I could get balloons and decorations set up. She referred me to Thumbtack. With little time to spare before the party, my outlook on finding someone to help was waning. I reached out to a dozen or more professionals. And within minutes, I was introduced to Fabz Events. In our conversations, I even kept referring back to the timing and asking if she would be able to do it in time. Fabz Events kept reassuring me that everything would be just fine. She was right. My daughter and her friends swooned over the birthday decorations and even took many of them home as souvenirs! I cannot thank you enough, Fabz Events, for ensuring that my daughter's birthday party will be remembered and treasured for the rest of her life.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are very competitive and we charge based on our clients' preferences, charges for event decors depending on what kind of decor our client wants, how many guests are estimated to be at the event, will we be doing floral decor, balloon decor or a mix of both, will we be making use of balloon arches, customized backdrops and props etc. We are presently offering a 10% discount to our first 5 customers, just to get our feet wet on Thumbtack.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss with the customer to understand which of our services they are interested in, where the event will be, what kind of decor they are looking to do, or which of our other services they are interested in, how many guests will be at the event etc. Then we discuss prices and after we have agreed on a price, i send an invoice, then go ahead and
