Hey there 👋🏼 Thanks for visiting Houston’s Most Versatile Partner Dance Studio! Z Dance was founded in 2022 by Michael Zepeda after working for Arthur Murray and other large studio chains for almost two decades. After seeing what clients liked and disliked at each studio, we were able to create a versatile syllabus designed for people of all ages, abilities, and levels. We wanted a space that provided all the competition training in the world, but didn’t force students who didn’t want to compete, into competitions. We wanted a space that didn’t discourage the lack of structure in most social dancing, but also provided opportunity and education to those who wanted to do more than just get by. We wanted a space filled with instructors to choreograph the most gorgeous, unforgettable wedding dances, but also a place that was inclusive to all events needing choreography, like Quinceañeras, Charity Balls, and more. We wanted a space where our students could come and dance without a sales pitch, without breaking the bank, without the pressure of being perfect, and without the stress of scheduling X amount of lessons each week for reasons that were completely irrelevant to them; ✨ we wanted a space that our students WANTED to be in. ✨ And from that, Z Dance LLC was born.
