About
I have a masters in German, English and French with almost 20 years of experience. I have worked as an assistant teacher in Oxford and studied in Paris and Germany. My focus is intrinsic learning for all learner types, ages and occasions. I have a passion for intercultural education which is also the reason why I chose this topic as my final thesis in combination with my English and my French professor. To keep a fresh angle I constantly study new foreign languages which allows me to teach from both angles. At the moment I am studying Spanish and Italian. I have also taken several training classes especially in the field of online teaching which I enjoy to use as another teaching platform for years now.

My daughter absolutely loved taking her French lessons with Barbara! She is professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable in her field. After just a few lessons with Barbara, my daughter became much more confident in speaking and reading french, as well as looked forward every week to attending her french lessons. Me and my daughter are very grateful for all the help Barbara has provided us and I highly recommend her tutoring services!

We started out using Barbara to teach our baby German and now I also take adult lessons. She is so wonderful, upbeat, cheerful, and sweet, and we absolutely LOVE her. She introduced us to fun German cartoons and my older kids watch them with my now toddler and the whole family has gotten into learning German. We can not recommend her highly enough!

I have been working with Barbara now for 4 years and she is wonderful! I take German language lessons from her and get complemented quite often when overseas in German speaking countries on my reading, hearing, and speaking capabilities. If I could give her 10 stars, I would! Sie ist ganz toll! Ich liebe meinen Deutschunterricht bei Barbara!
