Introduction: I have a masters in German, English and French with almost 20 years of experience. I have worked as an assistant teacher in Oxford and studied in Paris and Germany. My focus is intrinsic learning for all learner types, ages and occasions. I have a passion for intercultural education which is also the reason why I chose this topic as my final thesis in combination with my English and my French professor. To keep a fresh angle I constantly study new foreign languages which allows me to teach from both angles. At the moment I am studying Spanish and Italian. I have also taken several training classes especially in the field of online teaching which I enjoy to use as another teaching platform for years now.

I have been working with Barbara now for 4 years and she is wonderful! I take German language lessons from her and get complemented quite often when overseas in German speaking countries on my reading, hearing, and speaking capabilities. Frau Ulmer is the perfect teacher to engage my 9 year old son in german classes! She makes the classes fun and productive! We’ve hired her to come to our home once a week for 90 minutes! I highly recommend her as a teacher and as a person!
