I had been working as a professional wedding and event photographer for almost 11 years now. I have witnessed many beautiful multi cultural weddings that have acknowledged me about different traditions and how each event is unique. These weddings include Christian, Jewish, Kenyan-Muslim, Afghani, Pakistani, Indian and Arab Weddings.
I also have gained experience capturing candid portraits in the events such as birthday parties and corporate gatherings. Recently, I have introduced videography services and have developed a team of Duo!

Mehreen made our wedding absolutely magical. Not only were all of our needs met, but she went above and beyond our original asks. She took her time to get to know us and our personalities and then she really took her time during the photoshoot to capture our quirks and our love for one another.
As for the quality of our photos, they're sharp yet dreamy, which is exactly what I wanted. Our wedding was a multi-cultural wedding which showed our Mexican, American, and Indian roots and she managed to capture all of that in larger-than-life color and the occasional black and white photo as well.
My family will treasure these photos forever. Don't hesitate; book her already!

We recently moved to CA and were looking for a professional photographer for our son‘s first birthday cake smash photoshoot. I contacted Mehreen and of course a couple more professionals, Mehreen responded quickly. I explained her our requirements ( we had 5 wall backdrops and were planning for a navy themed photoshoot on top of that). But me and my wife were doubting if this session could be completed in 1 hour. But Mehreen promised us that she could extend her availability to 2 hours at the price of 1 hour as she is aware that a baby photoshoot needs a good amount of time. She came few minutes early than scheduled time and brought her Son Ibrahim for help. This amazing little man definitely deserves a thumbs up. He continuously tried and succeeded to keep our baby pointed towards the camera and whenever baby cries, this guy comes into the picture and changes baby’s mood. They both were very quick in changing the wall backdrops in between as needed and they helped themselves. We just sat back and had this amazing time with our boy. Mehreen showed most of the pictures at the end of each backdrop just to make sure if she matched our ideas. And the output is stunning. We got the best pictures and received the edited pictures in just 5 days. Literally we have gone through the entire album n number of times. I personally like the candids and portraits a lot. Mehreen is the perfect choice for a baby photoshoot and I can definitely say that she leaves you amazed with the output. I would definitely recommend The Expression Studio and Mehreen to a friend.
